Yiannis Loukis is a young photographer
specializing in applied photography.
He was born in Athens, Greece in 1994
and grew up on Paros island, Cyclades.
From a young age he demonstrated great interest in the arts.
Before fully engaging in his creative studies he took part
in various photography exhibitions.
A photography competition provided the challenge
that pushed him towards photography and the scenography
of the imaginary imagery he was looking to present.
He studied Applied Photography in Leica Academy in Athens.
After his graduation he continued his creative studies
at the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts on Paros. He has studied
Architectural and Commercial Photography,
Fashion and Portrait Photography,
Darkroom techniques and Digital image editing.
For many of his professional ventures he is consulted by
the well-known photographer Dimitris Kalapodas.
His work has being published
in Architectural and Photography magazines such as
DOMES, ELLINIKES KATASKEVES, ILI & KTIRIO and PHOTONET.
